#1 The SSD chair in eco-certified wood
The SSD chair in eco-certified wood is TIPTOE’s first chair. Born in 2019 thanks to you, the TIPTOE community and a crowdfunding operation, it brings together the TIPTOE DNA and our values. The SSD chair is :
- Simple : made of only 5 pieces, it can be assembled in 2 minutes and is easy to recycle when the time comes.
- Solid : its sturdy materials (steel and wood) make it a solid chair that will follow you for decades. Of course, the SSD chair is 100% made in Europe.
- Durable : delivered in a flat packaging made of 80% recycled paper, the SSD chair is also durable thanks to its materials. Steel is the most recycled material in the world and the wood we use comes from sustainably managed European forests (FSC or PEFC label).
The SSD chair is available in 3 wood finishes : oak, ashwood or walnut and 4 colors: Graphite Black, Cloudy White, Rosemary Green and Terracotta Red.

#2 The SSDr chair in recycled plastic
The SSDr chair is the result of long work of a year and a half to create a beautiful, useful and durable object in an industry that uses mostly virgin plastic. The SSDr chair is a new step in our ambition to create sustainable furniture.
In this version of the SSD chair, the seat and backrest are not made of wood but of recycled PP plastic. PP or polypropylene is a plastic with many industrial applications: food containers, automotive parts or household appliances.
The SSDr chair aims to prove that it is possible to give waste a second life to create beautiful and useful objects.

The SSD Soft chair in recycled upholstery is the first TIPTOE chair in recycled fabric! Its generous foam wrapped in a recycled fabric and removable cover provides all the necessary comfort for an office chair or around the dining table.
The SSD Soft fabric chair is also perfect for professional use in offices and restaurants. Today, the supply of recycled fabrics is very scarce, but we did not want to skip this requirement: the origin and quality of the raw material are paramount for us.
To meet our durability requirements, we have chosen our recycled fabric from the prestigious Danish company Gabriel, recognised for its know-how and the quality of its fabrics since 1851.
The SSD Soft fabric chair: ideal for intensive usage and removable
The SSD Soft chair has been designed so that each element can be separated and therefore recyclable (foam, fabric, legs, backrest). Thanks to its press studs under the seat, the SSD chair is easy to clean and removable!
The fabrics have excellent abrasion resistance and one of the best fire resistance profiles on the market with 10 different certifications. The fabrics are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® and EU Ecolabel, so they are non-toxic for the skin, health and the environment.
