A durable piece of furniture from an innovative manufacturing process
With the VENEZIA collection, our challenge was to go beyond recycling by proposing beautiful and durable furniture, created from old waste. We reverse the initial duration of the material, going from a product used for a short and ephemeral period to a noble and robust object.
The shelves are made from a hundred yogurt pots, hence the white color of the table top. Each shelf is unique and reveals a singular history, that of the past of the plastic material, to which the recycling gives a second youth.
The table tops of the collection are the result of an innovative manufacturing process: the collected plastic waste is reduced to chips and then pressed (without adding any binder) to finally form the table top. The result is innovative objects that are resolutely turned towards the future of furniture!
