Comfortable and timeless

Like all TIPTOE objects, the EASY sofa has been designed to last in terms of solidity, choice of materials and ease of maintenance.

All our materials are high quality and ultra-resistant. The powder-coated steel frame is virtually indestructible. The fabrics from the Danish company Gabriel boast an exceptional resistance to abrasion and friction.

Thanks to a quick and simple installation system, you can easily position the corner module on either side of the EASY sofa. You can also use the corner module as a seat or as a coffee table.

Sustainable materials and eco-design

Woven by design house Gabriel, founded in 1851 in Denmark, EASY’s textile is made of polyester recycled from plastic bottles (at a rate of 75 to 98% depending on the fabric). The textile boasts the “OEKO-TEX 100” label, a very demanding international standard in terms of respect for the health of the user and the environment, as well as the “EU Ecolabel”, the European reference for eco-designed products.

The cushions are filled with recycled foam flakes (note: the seat is a “virgin”, high-resilience foam made in France. Despite our tests, it is not yet possible to create a sufficiently comfortable seat in recycled foam).

Finally, the structure of the sofa is made of steel, the most recycled material worldwide and infinitely recyclable. Unlike most sofas where the use of glue and staples makes the materials virtually inseparable, EASY is a model of recyclability: each element can easily be disassembled at the end of its life (steel, foam, textile) to be recycled.

A sofa designed with the studio BIG-GAME

Simplicity, functionality and optimism

Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, BIG-GAME is a design studio founded in 2014 by Augustin Scott de Martinville, Elric Petit and Grégoire Jeanmonod.

BIG-GAME promotes a simple, functional and optimistic vision of object design. The trio of designers collaborate with prestigious partners around the world and some of their creations have already joined the collections of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris or the MoMA in New York.

Design that goes for the essential

From our very first discussions with the BIG-GAME studio, we established precise and ambitious specifications in terms of comfort, durability and functional efficacy to design our first sofa.

The BIG-GAME trio immediately showed a natural enthusiasm for designing a sofa that goes for the essentials and does away with the superfluous.

The result is called EASY: a timeless design, minutes to assemble, a model of sustainability and everyday comfort.

The fabric is made by prestigious design firm Gabriel, founded in Denmark, in 1851. Depending on the fabric, EASY coverings are made of 75% to 98% recycled textile, derived from used bottles.

Care instructions

The seat of the EASY ottoman is removable and machine washable at 40°C. The fabric can be steamed but is not ironable. The structure of the ottoman made of powder-coated steel is built to last and does not require any special maintenance. If necessary, you can clean it with a microfibre cloth and clean water.

In Europe, only downstairs delivery is available for the moment.

Unlike a traditional sofa, EASY is delivered flat in a reduced number of boxes, which makes it easier to carry for 2 people in the case of a downstairs delivery.
