Counter stool in recycled plastic MACCHIATO

Designed by TIPTOE, the counter stool is a creative piece of furniture that you can either use as a seat with the 90cm TIPTOE table leg, a classic counter table or a central island. The seat is in recycled plastic speckled with white and black.

In line with TIPTOE’s core values, this bar stool combines creative design, easy set-up (less than two minutes) and long-lasting materials. Counter stool is 100% made in Europe.

A unique recycled plastic seat

The MACCHIATO recycled plastic stool is an even more sustainable version of the popular bar stools in recycles plastic Venezia. Its recycled plastic seat is speckled with white and black flakes that indicate the former life of the plastic. This new version of the central island stool reflects TIPTOE’s desire to create sustainable furniture by going further and looking for beautiful and innovative materials.

The recycled plastic that constitutes the seats of the sools comes from cutting trays used in garden centres. This unique material is the result of an innovative manufacturing process: the plastic waste is reduced to shavings and then pressed (without adding any binder) to form the stool seat. The seats have their own colour and shade variations, which can vary from one seat to another.

Each MACCHIATO stool is unique and does not look like any other.

Dimensions and uses

The counter stool can be used with the 90cm TIPTOE legs and all table between 85cm and 95cm height.

For TIPTOE 110cm table legs, a bar, a high table or any table measuring between 100cm and 115cm, choose the 76cm bar stool.

For a classic seat, a beside table, a sofa end or a side table, you will love the LOU stool.

Care instructions

Recycled plastic is a noble and innovative material that needs to be cared for. Cleaning with a soft damp cloth is sufficient. We do not recommend the use of chemicals such as solvents, paint removers or strong detergents. Our steel legs are built to last and do not require any special maintenance. If necessary, you can clean them with a microfibre cloth and clean water.
