Can you provide a specific example of a referral?

Alicia and Paul are friends on Facebook (in real life too!).

 

  1. Paul has known TIPTOE for a few months. He thinks the brand is pretty cool and he likes its design pieces. He decides to share his referral link on Facebook.
  2. Alicia is looking for a new desk, one she really likes: she is tired of cheap and disposable furniture. She finds out about TIPTOE thanks to Paul by clicking on his referral link!
  3. After a few weeks, Alicia places an order of 200€ on our website. Thanks to Paul’s 10% gift, she saves 20€ and only pays 180€. Cool isn’t it?
  4. Alicia receives her order and installs her desk. “I love it”, she thinks.
  5. Once the 30-day validation period has expired (to cover shipping & delivery + 14-day return time period + potential return), TIPTOE validates the referral the we pay Paul 10% of Alicia’s pre-tax order value or 15€ (10% x (180€ – 30 € of VAT) = 10% x 150€)
Who can participate to our Referral Program?

(Almost) everybody can participate to our referral program*. You only need a valid email address.

* However, our referral program is limited to indivuals only. Businesses cannot participate.

When and how to claim my reward?

A referral is defined as a purchase made at tiptoe.fr/en by a person who arrives to our website by clicking your referral link. Once a purchase is made, a 30-day validation period starts. If at the end of this 30-day period, the referred customer has not returned his/her products, the referral is validated and we will pay the referring user via Paypal.

If you do not have a Paypal account, you can open one here in just a few minutes. We use Paypal because it is one of the safest payment solutions available out there.

How can I monitor my referrals and my rewards?
  1. After filling your email, your first and last names here, you will land on your referral portal.
  2. On the top right corner of the page, click on “Track your rewards” (just add “/?locale=en” to the end of the URL if the page is in French), set a password and confirm your email address by clicking on the link sent to you by email.
  3. Once you have confirmed your email, you will land on your reward monitoring page. If you want to go back to your referral portal, just click on “Refer friends” on the top right corner of the page.
General Terms and Conditions
  • What is a referral?

A referral is defined as a purchase in excess of 100€ (after discount) made at tiptoe.fr/en by a person who arrives to our website by clicking your referral link. Once a purchase is made, a 30-day validation period starts. If at the end of this 30-day period, the referred customer has not returned his/her products, the referral is validated.

In the case of a valid referral, TIPTOE will pay the referring user 10% of the referred user’s order value (after discount and excluding tax and shipping costs).

You are limited to one referral for each referred customer. In other words, additional/repeat purchases made by a referred customer are not counted as additional referrals.

 

  • Can I refer myself?

No, you cannot. The referred customer and the referrer cannot be the same person. They  must have a different email address, along with different billing and shipping information from the referrer.

 

  • No SPAM policy

You must comply with all up-to-date “SPAM” laws. For example, emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is strongly discouraged. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from TIPTOE’s referral program.

 

  • Right to close accounts

TIPTOE reserves the right to close the account(s) of any referrer and/or referred customer and to request proper payment if the referrer and/or referred customer attempts to use TIPTOE’s referral program in a questionable manner or breaches any of these terms & conditions or is in violation of any law, statute or governmental regulation.

 

  • Right to  cancel program or change terms

TIPTOE reserves the right to cancel the Referral Program or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Any unclaimed referral rewards will be forfeited at that time.
